Power Versus Force

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us.” by Marianne Williamson The unknown scares us and our power is unknown. Force kills us and we use it under the pretence that it saves us. We want to feel safe and we forget to explore beyond the norm We want to feel accepted and we sell our precious treasures in exchange We want to learn and we ignore that we know nothing until we know ourselves We force our values, beliefs, and ways onto others We forcefully build walls to protect us from what is not a threat We forcefully expect stability when change is the only constant Force is turning outward Force is driven by shame, guilt, blame, anger, and fear Force iludes us to search outside By staying in the familiar we neglect our power By distracting ourselves with the everyday drama we grow weaker By trying to fit the mold we shrink our power and expand our frustration And we still wonder why are we getting sicker and sicker? How can we step into this power? Power is turned inward True power is driven by courage, integrity, willingness, reason, love, joy, Power invites us to act from source
